On August 8, Zhao Xuefeng, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and the Deputy Director of Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, held a meeting with Wang Xuzheng, the CEO of Red Star Macalline Group Corporation Ltd (hereinafter referred to Macaline Group). Both sides had an in-depth discussion on the project cooperation of Red Star Clouds (Yunnan) Science and Technology Innovation Center.

Zhao said, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area strives to develop 5 high-end industries, including new energy vehicles and high-end equipment, chemical industry (including petrochemicals), new materials and metallurgy, electronic information and biomedicine and foster 3 modern service industries: high-end business and headquarters, commerce and modern logistics, tourism and health services. Meanwhile, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area is actively promoting digital industrialization, facilitating industrial digital transformation and enhancing digital governance capabilities. It is hoped that both sides could cooperate in the future in fields such as  industry-city integration development, industry digitalization, and digital economy, helping Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area to build the industrial new town. 

According to the person in charge of Macaline Group, the project of Red Star Clouds (Yunnan) Science and Technology Innovation Center consists of a robot laboratory, an AI big data laboratory,an industrial digitization project, and digital government project research and development, and so forth. Wang said Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area is a hot spot for investment. It is hoped that Macaline Group will settle its projects in New Area in the digital economy, industrial incubation, and talent introduction to achieve win-win cooperation.
