From July 14th to 16th, Yang Dongwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Dian Zhong New Area, led a delegation to Shanghai and Hangzhou to carry out investment promotion efforts.

The delegation, in collaboration with Yunnan Aviation Industry Investment Group, conducted precise investment attraction targeting the aviation industry chain. They conducted on-site inspections of companies including Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), Loong Airlines, and YTO Cargo Airlines. Discussions focused on collaborations in areas such as civil aircraft component manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, and the expansion of air cargo operations. Yang Dongwei stated that with the accelerated progress of the Kunming Changshui International Airport expansion project, Dian Zhong New Area's potential as an aviation hub for South and Southeast Asia is continuously enhanced. It is poised to become one of the most dynamic and promising regions for the development of modern aviation industries and airport-related economies. "The establishment of aviation manufacturing, maintenance, and cargo companies in the New Area offers vast development prospects and tremendous market potential," Yang Dongwei added. The New Area will continue to optimize its business environment, provide first-class service guarantees, and offer strong support in areas such as industrial incentives and talent acquisition, working together with enterprises to build a new high ground for the high-quality development of the airport economy.

The delegation also held discussions with DeGuan Capital, exploring collaborations in equity investment and industrial landing within the hard technology sector.
