On August 1st, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area Motorcycle Industry Investment Promotion Conference was held in Chong Liangjiang New Area. The conference aimed to attract investment from targeted heavyweight motorcycle industry enterprises in Chongqing. It involved in-depth exchanges and negotiations with more than 20 companies, providing detailed introductions of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area's unique advantages in terms of policies, location, transportation, and etc. Enterprises were invited to visit and invest in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area to explore mutual development. 

At the conference, Yang Dongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, sincerely invited outstanding companies and entrepreneurs from Chongqing to invest and start businesses in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. 

Yang mentioned that Kunming has a history of over 3,000 years and an urban construction history of more than 2,400 years. It is blessed with blooming flowers throughout the year, with natural landscapes and cultural resources complementing each other. Kunming is located at the intersection of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the Greater Mekong Subregion, and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, with a vast domestic market of 1.4 billion people to the north and a market of 2.3 billion people in South Asia and Southeast Asia to the south. While making good use of resources through cooperation between the eastern and western regions, Kunming is also strengthening its industrial connection with Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle to promote the transfer of industries along the border. Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, where Kunming Changshui International Airport is situated, serves as a regional international transportation hub in China. The CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Yunnan Province have always placed great importance on the development of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area to support it becoming a new economic growth pole in the province. Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will innovate and make good use of customs clearance policies for the China-Laos Railway, put investment funds for supporting industries transfer in place, create demonstration zones for industrial transfer, and ensure the guarantee of production factors to bolster enterprises of various types to achieve better development in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area.

Entrepreneurs participating in the conference expressed that through the promotion conference, they gained a deeper understanding of Kunming, which is known as a "National Historical and Cultural City," "China's Spring City," and the "World's Flower City." Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area is leveraging Yunnan's geographical advantages of facing South Asia, its direct access to ASEAN, and the political advantages of national border development and opening-up. Entrepreneurs will actively seek opportunities to visit and invest in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, sharing development opportunities and jointly creating a bright future.
