Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Zone Records RMB 2.214 Billion in Imports and Exports in April

A reporter recently learned from the Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Zone that the zone has maintained strong foreign trade momentum, with its monthly import and export volume reaching RMB 2.214 billion in April 2026, a new monthly record.
The overall figures are equally impressive. From January to April this year, the Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Zone recorded a total import and export value of RMB 5.706 billion, a sharp year-on-year increase of 280.2%, reflecting robust growth in foreign trade.
Cross-border e-commerce parcels are being inspected in the Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
Leveraging a well-targeted industrial layout and the advantages of an open platform, the Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Zone has continued to enhance its overall competitiveness. Among the 173 customs special supervision zones nationwide, it has climbed to 76th place in the latest ranking, up 49 positions from the same period last year, marking a significant rise in its national ranking.
It is reported that, focusing on its leading industries, the Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Zone has continued to strengthen competitive import and export businesses, improve port supporting facilities and customs clearance services, and expand the base of foreign trade operators. These efforts have provided key support for the continued growth of import and export trade.
