Puzhehei, located in Qiubei County of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan, means “a lake teeming with fish and shrimps” in the Yi language. During the summer,  thousands of acres of lotus flowers in Puzhehei National Wetland Park are in their best viewing period. From aerial views, lotus flowers stretch for miles with cool breezes making it a perfect summer retreat. Visitors coming from afar can take a boat, appreciate the beautiful scenery, and engage with water play activities to enjoy the coolness in summer. (Editors: Ines, Lexi)
