From May 31 to June 3, Yang Dongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, led a delegation to Tianjin City and Xi'an City for investment attraction. They visited key enterprises for face-to-face discussion of cooperation and investigated the urban planning and construction of Qujiang New District in Xi'an to study advanced experiences and methods.

Yang and his delegation visited companies in aviation maintenance, research and development, and aviation training under Haite Group, including Tianjin Haite Aircraft Maintenance Co., Ltd and Tianjin Flight Safety Aviation Training Co., Ltd, for cooperation and learned about operation models of Haite aviation maintenance base, Haite simulator production base, and aviation training base. During the meeting with Li Biao, Chairman of Haite Group, Yang said that Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area would provide good services for Haite Group's two projects to settle in New Area. It is hoped that both sides will deepen their cooperation. Haite Group could put aviation maintenance and bonded maintenance bases in the aviation modern service zone of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, set up an aviation research and development center in Yunnan Dian Zhong Science City to assist Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area industrial development in aviation equipment manufacturing, maintenance, and training.

During the visit to the China Automotive Technology & Research Centre (hereinafter referred to as CATARC), Yang exchanged views with An Tiecheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CATARC, on the top-level planning and design of Yunnan Future Transportation and Science City, building an intelligent network test site and an intelligent transportation exhibition. Yang sincerely invited CATARC to visit Yunnan Dian Zhong Science City and jointly conduct research to help promote the development of the Yunnan Dian Zhong Science City.

At Xi'an Xinhang International Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xinhang International Group), Yang said Xinhang International Group has outstanding advantages in core sectors such as logistics and trading and hopes to strengthen the cooperation with Xinhang International Group to promote the connection of the flow of logistics, people and capital in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. At Xi'an Tianlong Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tianlong Science and Technology), Yang invited Tianlong Science and Technology to inspect Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area and leverage transportation and location advantages of New Area to expand markets in South Asia and Southeast Asia. Yang and his delegation also went to Xi'an Tangjiu Convenience Chain Co., Ltd. to promote the signed projects to settle in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area as soon as possible.

In addition, Yang and his delegation visited the Management Committee of Qujiang New District in Xi'an, exchanged views on urban construction management experience with the Management Committee, and studied good practices in urban planning and design, greening, and landscaping of Qujiang New District. They also visited the national engineering research center of Xidian University and had in-depth discussions with He Yue and other members of the Chinese Academy of Science on how to jointly promote the development of industrialization projects of scientific research results. (Editors: Ines, Christine)
