Currently, an investment promotion conference hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee was held in Kunming to attract Taiwan associations and business people to invest and conduct inspections in Yunnan Province and promote the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Yunnan and Taiwan so as to help achieve the high-quality leapfrog development of Yunnan Province. During the conference, the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area made a special presentation, inviting Taiwan enterprises to invest in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area.

On the same day, representatives from the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland paid a visit to Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area for inspection and exchanges, seeking investment opportunities. At the investment promotion conference, the head of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area detailed the social and economic development, industry cultivation, and investment attraction policies in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. 

After the conference, Cai Zhihuang, Standing Vice President of Jiashan Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises, Lin Wenzhao, Standing Vice President of Kunming Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises, and their delegations came to Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area for on-site inspection and exchanged views with relevant officials from the Party Working Committee and the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. They visited the planning exhibition hall of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, Zhongguancun Electronics Zone (Kunming) Technology Industrial Park, "Yunyanju" Talent Condos, gaining insights into the industrial layout and talent policy in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area during the on-site inspection. 

Officials from the Party Working Committee and the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area stated that with the operation of the China-Laos Railway and the accelerated construction of  Mohan International Port City, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area's advantages in location and opening-up to South Asia and Southeast Asia are becoming increasingly prominent. The Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland is welcome to invest in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area and cooperate in the fields such as manufacturing and electronic technology to achieve win-win development.

Cai Zhihuang, Lin Wenzhao, and their delegations said that Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area has outstanding advantages in geographical location and transportation. They will strengthen communication and coordination, identify cooperation opportunities, and invest and start businesses in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. (Editors: Ines, Lexi)
