Ranked 81st among 173 special customs supervision zones across China, its foreign trade scale climbed 43 places year-on-year, hitting an all-time high since its founding.
Cross-border e-commerce maintained robust growth. Bonded logistics saw dramatic growth. Its import and export volume reached 1.486 billion yuan in Q1, surging 810.5% year-on-year. Fueled by efficient China-Laos Railway services and strong provincial policy backing for cross-border logistics, 583 containers worth 1.409 billion yuan were dispatched through the zone from January to April, surpassing last year’s full-year volume. A trackless railway yard has been established in the zone to advance railway security screening and customs inspection. Enterprises can finish all formalities in one go. Goods are loaded and shipped immediately upon arrival at Wangjiaying West Station, greatly cutting logistics time and costs. Major cargo covers solar panels, LCD displays and textiles, bound for South Asia, Southeast Asia and other global markets.
