Roses, praised for their affordable price and auspicious symbolism, are particularly popular.

The flowers are priced at 99 yuan for three bunches, drawing numerous travelers who pause to browse and select. In addition to fresh blooms, everlasting flowers which are easier to carry and with an extended shelf life—are especially favored by visitors from outside Yunnan.
