During the recent New Year’s Day holiday, the Miyemao “Everything Good Market” in Dian Zhong New Area stand out with impressive figures—64 standard stalls, daily performances and interactions, attracting a total of 13,000 visits over three days. It has become the area's first light cultural tourism destination designed for travelers immediately after arrival.

The market officially opened on December 30 last year at the "Miyemao Art and Life New Space" located at the intersection of Konggang Avenue and Huize Street, just 3 kilometers in a straight line from Kunming Changshui International Airport. It is positioned as a "community vitality center and miniature cultural tourism destination."

During the New Year's Day holiday, the market’s popularity was driven by five themed zones—"Snack Night Market," "Local Specialties," "Creative Cultural Products," "Green Living," and "Stage Performances"—along with daily uninterrupted shows and interactions. It welcomed a total of 13,000 visits, far exceeding initial expectations.

The market adopts a mixed-use model integrating food, cultural creativity, entertainment, and social interaction, offering an immersive experience where visitors are encouraged to explore, engage, and spend time. Currently, the commercial street has attracted several well-known brands. The self-operated area plans to feature curated displays of renowned products from Yunnan's 16 prefectures (cities), highlighting the "local culture" theme. The art gallery will host intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, folk art collaborations, and student training programs. The approximately 100-acre meadow behind the building will be developed as a "meadow economy" space for events like pet salons, parent-child activities, and other outdoor gatherings.

Moving forward, the market plans to expand offerings featuring traditional Chinese aesthetics, specialty cuisine, and services tailored to business and transit travelers. This initiative aims to fill the gap for high-quality cultural tourism offerings in the airport area, gradually build its own brand IP, and enhance the supporting services for Kunming International Aviation Hub.
