From May 1st to 5th, the "Yunhuan Festival" Art Music Design Festival was held at the Liangya International Innovation Design Exchange Center in Dian Zhong New Area. The event encompassed two core segments: the "Chuncheng Youli" (Spring City Courtesy) Urban Gift Design Special Exhibition and trendy music performances. Through a cross-disciplinary integration of creativity and music, it showcased Kunming's cultural innovation achievements, attracting numerous citizens and tourists and injecting vibrancy into the Spring City's May Day holiday.

As the highlight of this edition of the "Yunhuan Festival," the "Chuncheng Youli" Urban Gift Design Competition lasted 140 days, attracting 1,380 enterprises, institutions, and individuals, with 2,298 works submitted. Ultimately, 355 outstanding works were shortlisted for the special exhibition. The exhibition presented works along themes such as "intangible cultural heritage reborn," "urban memories," and "cultural and creative surge." "This promotes the integrated development concept of 'using competitions to drive city development, [and] city development to attract people and culture,' drawing more resources into Dian Zhong New Area and driving high-quality regional economic development," said Chen Shuqing, the exhibition curator. Some exhibited works have already reached preliminary cooperation intentions with enterprises for mass production, accelerating the industrialization of design achievements.

The concurrent trendy music performances featured independent musician Zhang Jingyi, Kunming's local band "Dimensional Sound," and singer Gao Qiong, among others. From folk singing to electronic rock, the diverse musical styles attracted audiences of all ages. "Listening to rock music under the starry sky of Dian Zhong New Area is a unique Spring City experience," an enthusiastic fan from Chengdu exclaimed.

According to organizers, the performances attracted over a thousand people, driving sales of "Chuncheng Youli" cultural and creative products and coffee beverages, as well as bookings for surrounding hotels. In the future, the Liangya International Innovation Design Exchange Center will plan more cultural tourism and youth art salon events to continuously invigorate Dian Zhong New Area's cultural and creative economy.
