South and Southeast Asian Media Network Annual Meeting 2024 | Over 100 Guests Gather in Xishuangbanna for a City Rainforest Adventure

On December 9, the South and Southeast Asian Media Network (SSAMN) Annual Meeting 2024 was held in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province.
During the event, more than 100 media officials, representatives, and scholars from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and various regions in China visited the Xishuangbanna Tropical Flowers and Plants Garden. They participated in a unique activity themed "Hello, Xishuangbanna: Morning Exercise in the Urban Rainforest".
The event featured four specially designed hiking routes, each centered around themes such as "Exercise to relax yourself" "Gathering rarities in rainforest" "Taste the tropical fruits" and "Have a morning coffee". Each route culminated in engaging games, where successful challenges earned participants stamps as rewards. Along the way, activities such as flower and leaf collection and interactive checkpoints added to the fun and immersive experience.
In a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, participants not only experienced the unique charm of Xishuangbanna's urban tropical rainforest but also deepened their emotional connections with countries in South and Southeast Asia.
