On November 21, Bao Xu, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, held discussions with Liu Hongjian, Director of the Yunnan Branch of the Southwest Air Traffic Management Bureau of Civil Aviation Administration of China. They engaged in in-depth exchanges on the development of the aerospace economy and the Future Transportation Science City.  

Bao stated that Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area is seizing new opportunities to develop the low-altitude economy industry. He expressed hopes for enhanced collaboration with the Yunnan ATC Division in areas such as application expansion, airspace management, and technology promotion. Leveraging its advantages in location, policies, industries, talent, and funding, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will integrate various levels and types of technological innovation resources to build platforms for R&D, transformation, and application of scientific research results. The goal is to accelerate breakthroughs in core technologies related to the low-altitude economy and create a concentrated headquarters cluster for the industry.  

Liu emphasized that Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area has a unique geographical location with an airport as an advantage. The Yunnan ATC Division will leverage its professional expertise in air traffic management to strengthen airspace resource information sharing with the Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. It will also enhance cooperation in low-altitude airspace, application scenarios, and technology transfer, making every effort to drive the development of the low-altitude economy.
