On November 8, a delegation led by Mustafa, CEO of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), visited the Yunnan Airport High-Tech Industrial Park for economic and trade cooperation opportunities.
Located in the Airport Industrial Park (North Park) of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, Yunnan Airport High-Tech Industrial Park is adjacent to Kunming Changshui International Airport, covering an operational management area of approximately 500,000 square meters. The park features a range of facilities, including large, medium, and small standardized factories, affordable rental housing, and research and development buildings, making it a comprehensive industrial park for technological research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industrial upgrading. Since its opening in July this year, the park has attracted 336 enterprises spanning sectors such as technology, healthcare, culture, and business services.
Mustafa and his delegation visited the park's comprehensive service center, business incubation center, and a new energy technology company. During a meeting, they watched a promotional video about the Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area and received a detailed introduction to the Yunnan Airport High-Tech Industrial Park. Both sides discussed enhancing cooperation in areas such as investment promotion, business collaboration, and services for overseas students. Mustafa emphasized that Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area boasts excellent location and transportation advantages and demonstrates strong industrial development momentum. As a secondary investment promotion platform and a key supporting park within Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, the Yunnan Airport High-Tech Industrial Park is building an open, collaborative, and mutually beneficial development platform. He hoped to promote the exchange and cooperation of enterprises, goods, and trade between the two regions to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes. (Editors: Ines, Reena)
