On September 13th, Bao Xu, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, led a team to inspect the progress of the relocation project of  Kunming Changshui International Airport expansion and renovation. He also visited and extended his regards to the Kunming Airport Economic Zone Forest Guard Team on duty stationed at the Laobashan geological disaster hazard point in the Huajing Community of Changshui Sub-district.

Bao and his team inspected the project on-site at the Xiaoshao oil and power pipeline construction sites. They thoroughly examined the overall progress of the relocation project as part of the Kunming Changshui International Airport expansion and renovation and addressed challenges encountered in advancing the project. Bao urged the participating construction units to prioritize safety and quality, enhance coordination, and efficiently push forward with construction to ensure the project's timely completion and operation.

Since this year's flood season, the Kunming Airport Economic Zone Forest Guard Team on duty has been diligently stationed at the Laobashan geological disaster hazard point, conducting routine patrols and identifying and addressing potential risks to protect the lives and property of the residents in the Laobashan area. During his visit, Bao expressed his gratitude to all the staff for their significant contributions to the flood prevention efforts and the economic and social development of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. It is hoped that the team will continue their efforts to ensure greater support for the development of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. (Editors: Ines, Reena)
