On June 5th, Yang Dongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, had a meeting with Fan Shubin, General Manager of Beijing Capital City Development Group, and his delegation. Both sides engaged in thorough discussions regarding the advancement of the Capital Outlets project in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area.

Yang extended a warm welcome to Fan Shubin and his delegation. Yang expressed that the development and construction of the "Business and Travel District of National Gateway" in the Liqi area holds significant importance for developing the Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. Establishing the Capital Outlets project will play a positive role in the economic and social development and urban construction of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will form a special task force to advance the preliminary work of the project. All relevant departments must firmly establish a sense of the overall situation, overcome difficulties, and make every effort to promote the implementation and construction of the project. Yang hopes that Beijing Capital City Development Group will further optimize and refine the construction and operation plan for the project, thoughtfully planning the business formats and service details, balancing economic and social benefits, and ensuring the project reflects Yunnan's characteristics, targeting the South Asian and Southeast Asian markets. It is hoped that both sides join hands to promote the implementation of various tasks, achieving mutual development and win-win outcomes.

Fan expressed that the Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area maintains a positive momentum in its economic and social development. The chosen site for the Capital Outlets project boasts comprehensive transportation advantages, including aviation, subways, and expressways, along with a steadily increasing flow of people. After conducting market research, the group is confident in the future development of this project and intends to develop it into a landmark project targeting the South Asian and Southeast Asian markets.
