On April 28th and 29th, Shi Hong, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of  Zerog Aircraft Industry (Hefei) Co., Ltd., led a team to inspect low-altitude economic application scenarios in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. Yang Dongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, and other officials engaged in thorough discussions with the inspection team.

Shi Hong and his team toured the Planning Exhibition Hall of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, Yunnan Dian Zhong Science City, Low-Altitude Economic Research Institute, and Yunnan Vocational College of Transportation. They also conducted on-site inspections of low-altitude economic application scenarios in Wolong Ancient Fishing Village and Baofeng Wetland Park in Kunming City and listened to presentations on the envisioned low-altitude economic application scenarios in Kunming City and Dianzhong New Area, as well as the development of general aviation airports in Yunnan.

Yang stated that Yunnan possesses advantages and market demand for developing low-altitude economic application scenarios. Kunming City and Yunnan Dianzhong New Area attach great importance to developing the low-altitude economy, seizing new opportunities brought by "new tracks," and will build a cluster area for the low-altitude economy in the Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. It is hoped that relevant enterprises would develop in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, establishing regional headquarters, operation centers, production bases, research institutions, etc., based in Yunnan and oriented towards South Asia and Southeast Asia. Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will continuously optimize the business environment to develop a low-altitude economy, providing various application scenarios to facilitate the development of enterprises and expedite project implementation.

Shi noted that this inspection and research fully demonstrated the favorable conditions and pragmatic measures for the development of low-altitude economy in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. ZZerog Aircraft Industry (Hefei) Co., Ltd. plans to leverage this by combining tourism, forest fire prevention, and other application scenarios to quickly implement product trial operations. At the same time, they will accelerate the planning and promotion of production, operation, research and development, demonstration centers, and regional headquarters in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, aiming to create a model for developing a low-altitude economy oriented towards South Asia and Southeast Asia.
