Spring is a good season for tree planting. With the arrival of the 46th National Tree-Planting Day on March 12th, the Party branch of Urban Construction and Management Bureau of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area carried out Arbor Day-themed party day activities.
Members of the party branch came to the Talent Vitality Park in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area and planted Malus Hallinan Koehnes and Yunnan cherry blossom trees to contribute to the calling card of "Green Yunnan Dian Zhong New." At the event site, 22 party members worked together to shovel the soil, cultivate seedlings, and water the soil with every effort, planting trees together. Newly planted trees stand in the wind, showing vigor in the warm spring breezes.
The person in charge of this activity stated that this event aimed to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's thoughts on ecological civilization and act on the idea that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets so as to enhance the awareness of Party members and cadres in protecting the ecological environment and collectively create and safeguard a green Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area with practical actions.
