On February 24th, numerous migratory grey-headed lapwings were flying in the sky over Longling County in Baoshan City. According to statistics, the number of grey-headed lapwings suddenly rose from 80 in the past few days to thousands, making it the largest number of visits to Longling County in recent years. The spectacular sight has captivated a crowd of onlookers. Beyond that, grey-headed lapwings also attracted the peregrine falcon, a raptor at the top of the food chain. In front of everyone's eyes, a grey-headed lapwing unfortunately fell into the sharp talons of the peregrine falcon. However, this grey-headed lapwing was quite large, and the peregrine falcon struggled to carry it away after stopping briefly on the grass. (Editors: Ines, Lexi)
