On December 26th, Yang Weiling, Vice Mayor of Kunming Municipal People's Government, led a team to inspect the development of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area's biomedical industry. They heeded the demands of enterprises, understood the current situation of biomedical industrial development in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, and helped enterprises address current obstacles and challenges on-site with leaders from relevant departments and companies. 

Yang and her delegation visited Yunnan Daodi Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd., Health Guard (Kunming) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Kunming Nanjiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., respectively. They entered the production workshop to learn about the company's operations, products, production capacity, market share, etc. 

The biomedical industry is one of the key industries for development in Kunming City and Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. In recent years, the biomedical industry in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area has rapid development with continuously improved industrial systems, and at present, it is focusing on four core industries, including natural health products, biotechnology drugs, chemical innovation, and generic drugs, integrating health services and new business formats, and building a full-chain ecosystem and full-lifecycle service system for the biomedical industry.

Yang expressed that Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area should continue to optimize the business environment and help enterprises and research institutions to solve existing difficulties and problems, allowing enterprises to operate in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area without concerns and promoting key projects to be put into production and yield fruitful results as soon as possible. In addition, based on their industrial foundation and consolidated existing market, enterprises should continuously launch innovative products, expanding larger market space to inject new development impetus into enterprises.
