From October 24 to 25, Yang Dongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area led a delegation to Hangzhou and Shanghai to carry out investment promotion activities. They visited enterprises focusing on the development strategy and key industrial chains of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, conducted research and study, and engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation matters.

The Institute of Service-oriented Manufacturing, jointly established in 2020 by CEPREI, Linping District Government of Hangzhou City, and Linping National Economic and Technological Development Zone, is a national-level new research and development institution dedicated to addressing the common technological issues of the development of service-oriented manufacturing. During the visit, Yang stressed that service-oriented manufacturing is the key direction for the high-quality development of China's manufacturing industry. He called on all departments of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area to enhance their understanding of service-oriented manufacturing and actively attract enterprises to settle in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, enabling a flourishing development of the manufacturing industry.

In Shanghai, Yang and his delegation visited Harmay, an innovative aesthetic shopping space, and had in-depth discussions to explore the conditions for its establishment in Kunming. They sincerely invited the company for an on-site visit. 

On the morning of October 25, Yang led a team to participate in the 2023 Kunming Cooperation Promotion Conference on Undertaking Industrial Transfer from the Yangtze River Delta. Zhao Mingshang, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, signed 11 project cooperation agreements on behalf of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area with a total amount of 1.372 billion yuan, covering fields such as flight training, new energy, new materials, cultural tourism, urban transportation, live streaming, and biomedicine.

Zhao and his investment promotion team also visited ATLATL (Shanghai) Technology Co., LTD., Dataa Robotics, Transfer Group and Chint Group, sincerely inviting these enterprises to invest and start business in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. (Editors: Ines, Amy)
