Qingdao West Coast New Area collaborates with Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area for high-quality development

On October 24th, a delegation from Qingdao West Coast New Area visited Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area for exchanges and investigations.

At the Planning Exhibition Hall of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area's experiences and practices in planning and construction, establishment of industrial policy systems, and optimization of the business environment. The delegation also visited Yunnan Invensight Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. and learned about key projects and main industrial development in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area.

During the symposium, the General Management Department, the Financial and Monetary Bureau, and the Government Affairs Service Management Bureau in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area shared their experiences on relevant practices and expressed their hope to deepen the cooperation with Qingdao West Coast New Area in various fields, including external channels and open platforms.

According to the introduction of the delegation, Qingdao West Coast New Area, the 9th state-level new area, was approved and established by the State Council in 2004, focusing on developing the marine economy and comprehensively implementing the maritime strategy. It has been developed into a leading area for marine technology innovation, a strategic base for deep-sea development, a demonstration area for civil-military integration innovation, a pioneer area for international cooperation in the maritime economy, and an experimental zone for coordinated land-sea development. It is hoped that by partnering with Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, Qingdao West Coast New Area will leverage its advantages in location, policies, and industrial development of the two national-level new areas to pursue high-quality development. Qingdao West Coast New Area will serve as a bridge for industry-matching enterprises, striving to facilitate more cooperation and achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes in economic and enterprise development between the two regions.
