On September 14th, Duan Hongbo, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, led a delegation to the Ya'an Chamber of Commerce in Kunming. They held a meeting and exchanged views on the headquarter of the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce in Yunnan with Xu Shifen, Vice President of the Global Sichuan Chamber of Commerce and President of the Ya'an Chamber of Commerce, and other Sichuan heads of chambers of commerce in Kunming.

Duan expressed that the Sichuan business people are a large group of innovative and challenging entrepreneurs. He welcomes all business people from Sichuan to join forces and cooperate with Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area to build the headquarter of Sichuan Chamber of Commerce in Yunnan. Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will communicate closely with the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce to promote signing a project cooperation framework agreement as soon as possible, organize teams for coordination, and implement the project in phases. Meanwhile, it is hoped that the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce gives full play of its role as a linking bridge to motivate more enterprises from Sichuan to settle and invest in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, which will make every effort to provide the most preferential policies, the most considerate services, the most comfortable environment, and the most solid guarantee to ensure projects will be implemented as soon as possible. 

Xu expressed that the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce will fully support the establishment of the headquarter of the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce in Yunnan. Ya'an Chamber of Commerce in Kunming has organized Sichuan heads of chambers of commerce to discuss this project. All presidents of the chambers agreed on supporting and participating in the construction of the headquarter. In the next step, the project will be further promoted by the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce in Yunnan.

Entrepreneurs attending the meeting said that the headquarter in Yunnan plays a significant role in integrating resources and strength of Sichuan business people and enhancing their influence. They will actively participate in the project construction and take the project as a carrier to witness the development of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. (Editors: Ines, Lexi)
