Recently, wild mushrooms have entered the peak season of sales and have become popular Yunnan specialties among tourists from other provinces. Daguan Zhuanxin wet market in Kunming City has become a tourist hot spot for experiencing Yunnan’s food culture, with a large number of visitors coming to visit and making purchases. Currently, nearly 30 tons of wild mushrooms are traded daily at the Zhuanxin wet market, with more than 40 varieties available for sale. Almost 80% of the mushrooms are bought by tourists, with Yunnan matsutake mushrooms and macrolepiota albuminosa being particularly popular. (Editors: Ines, Christine)
