On June 27th and 28th, Yang Dongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, led a delegation to Nanjing City and Shanghai City to carry out investment promotion activities. They visited key enterprises in the fields of electronic information, energy storage, new energy, and infrastructure construction, inviting companies to invest and develop in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area for joint development, and held in-depth discussions with the School of Transportation Engineering at Tongji University on cooperation in the construction of the Future Transportation Science City of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. 

Yang and his team visited Guobo Electronics Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Guosheng Electronics Co., Ltd., where they learned about the companies' experiences in developing semiconductor materials, electronic components, integrated circuit chips, and other areas. Yang said that the electronic information industry is a key focus of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. It is hoped that Guobo Electronics Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Guosheng Electronics Co., Ltd. will fully consider the advantages of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area for development and actively seek cooperation opportunities to jointly promote the industrial development in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area.

The delegation led by Yang Dongwei also paid a visit to China Pacific Construction Group. Both exchanged views on cooperation regarding comprehensive transportation, urban-industrial integration, and infrastructure construction in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. Both expressed their commitment to collaborate and jointly promote the development of the Future Transportation Science City of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, ASEAN Industry City, and Airport Guomen Commercial and Tourist Zone in order to lay a solid infrastructure foundation for the new urbanization construction in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area.

At Tongji University, Yang Dongwei and his delegation attended a symposium on exchanges between Kunming City and Tongji University. They visited the Future City and Traffic Joint Laboratory and the Holographic City and Intelligent Transportation Computing Joint Laboratory of the Intelligent Transportation System(ITS) Research Center at Tongji University. They held an in-depth discussion with relevant officials from Tongji University on how to build the Future Transportation Science City of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. Yang expressed his hope to deepen cooperation with Tongji University in terms of top-level design, collaboration between the college and local government and enterprises, and transformation of achievements so as to build the Future Transportation Science City into a new modern science city integrating production, education, research, business and residence with intelligent transportation as its main feature.

The delegation also visited  Huantai Group and Shanghai Xiandao Junyi Industrial Development Co., Ltd. for discussions and exchanges. Yang said that Yunnan's resource and location advantages could provide solid support for Huantai Group's domestic and international market expansion in energy and energy storage. Huantai Group is welcome to invest in Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area to expand markets for new energy power plants and storage batteries. It is hoped that Shanghai Xiandao Junyi Industrial Development Co., Ltd. gives full play of its advantages in industrial upgrading and digital economy to facilitate Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area attain technological innovation and the transformation of scientific and technical achievements in multiple fields.
