In order to improve the facilitation of government services, from June 15th, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will provide services such as making appointments for services and extending service time to fully satisfy the needs of citizens and enterprises. These services aim to resolve the difficulties of applicants who do not have time to run errands during working days and cannot do errands during holidays due to the closure of offices.

From June 15th, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will launch a "flexible service with extended working hours." During working days, the government service center of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will offer services during 3 periods: 8:30-9:00, 12:30-13:00, and 17:00-17:30, and ensure at least one service counter on duty for each service type.

As for "making appointments for services," Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area will provide telephone and on-site appointment services. Anyone could either dial 0871-67336089, the number of the government service center, to make an appointment or come to the information desk for an on-site appointment. In the next step, the government service center will accurately configure reservation service functional elements, including the available appointment time slots and the number of appointments that can be accepted in the government service venues at this level in the provincial government service platform, respond to the arrangement promptly and provide services in accordance with the scheduled time.

According to the actual appointments made, the government service center will extend service hours from 9:00-12:00 on Saturday mornings. Any individuals or enterprises that intend to have errands done on Saturday morning need to make an appointment via telephone or on-site before 12:00 every Friday. If you are over half an hour late after the appointment time and cannot be reached by phone, you have to come to the service center on a working day.

In addition, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area is accelerating the procurement and deployment of self-service terminal equipment for smart government services. More than 240 frequently used government service items will go self-service. They will be available in the government service center, each convenience service center, and industrial parks of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area so as to realize the 24-hour operation of government services. Meanwhile, smart terminal equipment such as self-service tax and self-printing of the business license will be provided at the government service center of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area to achieve 24-hour self-service in taxation, market supervision, and other fields.
