Third largest suspension bridge unveiled in Yunnan

Yongren Bridge is located in the mountainous area at the junction of Yongren County and Dayao County in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province. Crossing the river canyon, Yongren Bridge has a total length of 1668 meters, which is a double-tower single-span steel box stiffened beam suspension bridge. The height of the Yongren side’s main tower is 192.7 meters, while that of the Dayao side’s main tower is 107.7 meters, with the bridge deck as high as 350 meters from the bottom of the river canyon. The bridge is the largest highway suspension bridge under construction in Chuxiong and the third largest in Yunnan. At present, the construction of the Yongran Bridge is entering its final stage.
