On April 11, Yang Dongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area held a meeting with Li Lan, Secretary of the Party Committee of China Yunnan Highway Construction Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yunnan Highway Construction Group). Both sides exchanged views on promoting joint development through cooperation between local enterprises and the government.

Yang said that after more than 7 years of development, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area had made remarkable progress in constructing infrastructure and industrial parks. Currently, Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area is stepping the efforts to promote the in-depth integration and collaborative development of industrial and infrastructure construction, service support, quality improvement, and resource aggregation in order to carve out a new path of urbanizing construction. Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area is speeding up the development of three major areas: Kunming Changshui International Airport hub, Dian Zhong Science City, advanced airport manufacturing area, and modern aviation services. Yunnan Highway Construction Group is an independently-operated brand under one of the Fortune 500 companies, China Pacific Construction Group (hereinafter referred to as CPCG). It is hoped that Yunnan Highway Construction Group fully leverages its advantages in industry, capital, and talent to cooperate with Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area in infrastructure construction and industrial park development so as to jointly promote the high-quality socioeconomic development of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area.

Li said that under the support of CPCG, Yunnan Highway Construction Group is committed to serving rural revitalization, assisting in the development of county-level economy, and upgrading local industries to accelerate regional coordinated development and integrated development of urban and rural areas. It is hoped to find an opportunity to cooperate with Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, closely keep up with the pace of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area, and participate in the development of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area. Yunnan Highway Construction Group will contribute to the development of Yunnan Dian Zhong New Area while achieving its own growth.
