Recently, it is reported that as of October, the total sales of rural e-commerce in Songming County exceeded 180 million from the inspection site on implementing the Songming County Rural Revitalization Strategic Plan (2018-2022).

After the implementation of the Songming County Rural Revitalization Strategic Plan (2018-2022), Songming County has continuously boosted rural businesses, and the rural e-commerce here sees a rapid development. In the past five years, anthurium seedlings from Songming accounted for 76% of the national market, and phalaenopsis and chrysanthemum seedlings from Songming accounted for 90% of the national export share. The average grain acreage remained at over 170,000 mu (11,333 hectares), and the acreage of medicinal herbs was 1,500 mu (100 hectares). Since this year, the total sales of rural e-commerce have reached 186.21 million yuan.

Over the past five years, Songming has been improving the policies for integrated urban-rural development and strengthening the rural public cultural services. The coverage rate of cultural service centers has reached 100% in Songming County. Meanwhile, Songming has tried its utmost to forestall a large-scale reemergence of poverty and use the "Government Assistance Platform" WeChat Mini Program and App to achieve full coverage of dynamic monitoring and assistance.

In the area of the layout of rural production and residence, Songming has carried out the planning establishments of 58 administrative villages outside the boundary of urban development, stepped up efforts to promote the construction of "Songming Forests," and carried out negative growth actions for the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and continue to improve the living environment in rural areas. The coverage rate of domestic sewage treatment facilities in administrative villages has reached 90%, and all 78 villages (neighborhood) committees have hardened roads in Songming County.
