Hoya nervosa tsiang made its debut in Longling, Yunnan

Hoya nervosa tsiang et P. T. Li is an epiphytic plant, and the flower looks crystal clear. It highlights high ornamental value. Hoya nervosa tsiang et P. T. Li is endemic to China and distributed in Pu'er, Xishuangbanna, Lincang, and other areas in southern Yunnan.

From May 2017 to September 2020, the biodiversity investigation team of Southwest Survey and Planning Institute of National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China (NFGA) found a piece of new species of hoya and named it Gaoligong hoya during the investigation of wildlife background resources in Longling County. In September 2021, the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences found another H.myanmarica in Longling County, which marked a new distribution point on the "Chinese plant distribution map".

According to experts, hoya plants are very sensitive to the surrounding air, humidity, climate, and other conditions. The continuous discovery of hoya species in Longling indicates the nice natural ecological environment here.
