In the dense forests of Yingjiang County, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, SW China’s Yunnan Province, there is a bird under China's second-class national protection called the silver-breasted broadbill. They look pretty with their bright plumage, of which is a large part of silver gray dotted with red brown, blue, white and black. The most special thing is the thin silvery band around the female bird’s neck, which looks like wearing a platinum necklace. What a fashionista in the bird world!
What's interesting is the great contrast between their stylish appearances and their adorable habits. They are slow by nature, not good at jumping up and tweeting, and often forage in flocks or perch on branches.
